    El mexicano Eduardo Núñez ganó una primera defensa de su título de peso ligero júnior de la FIB contra Christopher Díaz mucho más difícil de lo esperado. A pesar de las tarjetas de 117-109 (dos veces) y 116-110, Núñez tuvo todo lo que pudo y más en esta batalla entre Puerto Rico y México. Un par de caídas en el séptimo asalto le dieron a Núñez un asalto de tres puntos, un asalto que bien podría haber estado perdiendo hasta ese momento, lo que significa una diferencia de cuatro puntos y una pelea mucho más reñida en las tarjetas.

    La pelea pareció ser una guerra de ida y vuelta, con cada peleador turnándose para tomar la delantera y emocionando a la afición tanto en vivo como por DAZN. Al final, Núñez mejoró a 29-1, 27 KOs, mientras que Díaz cayó a 30-6, 19 KOs.

    El excampeón minimosca del CMB, Pedro Guevara, tuvo una batalla más dura de lo esperado contra el mexicano Alexis Medina en el combate principal de apoyo. Ninguno de los dos logró mantener una ventaja sostenida, terminando en un empate a tres bandas con puntuaciones de 97-93 para Molina, 96-94 para Guevara y 95-95. Guevara ahora tiene un récord de 430-502, 22 nocauts, mientras que Molina baja a 13-1-2, 5 nocauts.
