Kpando SHS has brushed aside Abor SHS and Jukwa SHTS to secure a place in the One-Eighth Stage of the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz.
The Volta Region school took control from the opening round and never relinquished its grip, steadily widening the gap as the contest progressed.
By Round Four, Kpando had raced to 61 points, opening a commanding 32-point lead over Abor, who had 29, while Jukwa remained on 18.

They added six more points in the final round to finish on an impressive 67 points, comfortably ahead of Abor’s 35 and Jukwa’s 18.
The victory adds another chapter to Kpando SHS’s NSMQ story, with the school now advancing to the One-Eighth Stage carrying the confidence of a dominant preliminary performance.

For Abor and Jukwa, however, their 2026 NSMQ journey ends here.
