Sturla Holm won bronze medal in the men’s 20km biathlon at the Winter Olympics
Norwegian biathlete, Sturla Holm has confessed to having an affair after clinching a medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
The Olympian finished third, winning a bronze medal in the men’s 20km biathlon at the ongoing Olympics in Italy.
Speaking to the media, Holm disclosed that he has been in a relationship with a woman for six months and dearly loves her.

However, he admitted to having an affair with another woman, saying that cheating on his girlfriend pains him deeply. He expressed regret and remorse for his actions.
The Olympian noted that he still loves his girlfriend, explaining that the incident has saddened him greatly, and he hopes to reconcile with her to continue their relationship.
“It’s huge, it is my first Olympic medal. I want to thank everyone who helped me along the way, the waxers, a great day of skiing, and my whole family for supporting me. I want to share this with those who may not know or watch this. Six months ago, I met the love of my life, the most beautiful and wonderful person in my life.”
“Three months ago, I made the biggest mistake of my life and cheated on her, and that’s all I’ve been thinking about for a week. It’s been the worst week of my life. So I had a gold medal in my life, I only have eyes for her. I am not sure what I want to say,” he said.
