Norway are leading the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics after ten days of competition, which began on February 6 and is scheduled to end on February 22.

Norway top the table with a total of 27 medals, consisting of 12 gold, 7 silver, and 8 bronze.

Host nation Italy sit second with 22 medals, 8 gold, 4 silver, and 10 bronze.

The Netherlands follow with 12 medals, made up of 6 gold, 5 silver, and 1 bronze.

The United States surprisingly occupy fourth place, having won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 4 bronze medals, totaling 17.

Outside the top four, Sweden are fifth with 11 medals, Switzerland sixth with 10, France seventh with 15, Austria eighth with 14, Germany ninth with 15, and Japan tenth with 17.

Fifteen other countries occupy the remaining positions as athletes continue to compete for laurels to put their nations on the global stage.

In terms of ranking, gold medals carry more weight than silver and bronze, which explains why some countries with fewer total medals are ranked higher than those with more.

With 12 days left in the event, athletes will be pushing harder to win medals and help their nations climb the table in pursuit of history.
