The Northern Regional Minister, Mr Ali Adolf John Mburidiba, has called on members of the National Democratic Party (NDC) to continue praying for the success of the government to implement more projects to benefit them and the entire country.

He said it was through their prayers and support that the NDC government gained power in the 2024 general election.

The minister was delivering a message of hope and inspiration to members of the party in the Tatale-Sangule District of the Northern Region. This formed part of their thank-you tour to the people and executives of the party in the Tatale-Sanguli and Zabzugu constituencies, respectively, on Saturday.

He expressed his gratitude to the constituency executives for their resilience and support to the party during the 2024 elections.

The minister, who is also the Northern Regional Chairman of NDC, emphasised the need for their continued prayers for President John Dramani Mahama for his good health.

“I strongly believe that with your constant prayers he would continue to bring more projects to your doorstep,” he stated.

He mentioned that the current regional executives of the party had demonstrated so much commitment in seeing to the victory of the party in the 2024 elections.

The minister also stated that the commitment was evident in the recent election, where their efforts resulted in an increase of the number of seats from 9 to 12. This, according to him, was along with an over 20 per cent increase in presidential votes.

He added that they would remain steadfast in commitment to strengthening the party in the region and across the country.

He, however, appealed to them to continue being patient as they work together in order to ensure that more development reaches them in their various communities.
