Truro City’s match against Folkestone Invicta has been abandoned due to a medical emergency after a footballer collapsed during the warm-up.

Yassine En-Neyah, 26, was rushed to hospital in an ambulance after collapsing while warming up with his Truro City team-mates on the pitch.

The former Nottingham Forest academy youngster had been named among the substitutes to face Folkestone.

‘Yassine En-Neyah required medical assistance during the warm-up and was transferred to the William Harvey hospital in Ashford for further treatment.
