The organizers of the prestigious Telecel Ghana Music Awards have officially opened nominations for the 26th edition.

The announcement was made in a statement released on Tuesday, January 21, 2024.

“On behalf of the Board, our distinguished sponsors, and esteemed partners, we extend our warmest regards to all music stakeholders and officially announce the commencement of nominations for the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards,” the statement began.

The scheme is now accepting submissions for all commercially released works from January 1 to December 31, 2024. Entries are welcome from artists, management teams, record labels, producers, instrumentalists, composers, and other stakeholders within the music industry. Submissions must be completed through the online portal at www.entry.ghanamusicawards.com by Sunday, February 16, 2025.

The organizers also highlighted updates to the awards categories.

“Please note that the categories of the TGMAs have been revised. The revisions include updates to definitions and the addition of new categories. These changes can be found on our official website, www.GhanaMusicAwards.com, as well as on our social media platforms: Ghana Music Awards on Facebook, and @ghmusicawards on Instagram and X. We encourage all stakeholders to review these updates and plan their submissions accordingly.”

The Telecel Ghana Music Awards remains one of the most significant events celebrating musical excellence and talent in Ghana, and this year’s edition promises to uphold that tradition with its revised framework and continued dedication to recognizing the best in the industry.
