In a strategic move to boost the fight against malaria in Nigeria, Kessington Global Synergy Ltd, the producers of the renowned anti-malaria drug Kesartem, unveiled Nollywood stars Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan (popularly known as BamBam), Azubuike Michael (known as Zubby Michael), and Ali Nuhu as the brand’s official ambassadors.
The star-studded unveiling ceremony held at the prestigious Radisson Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, and attracted attention from across the entertainment and healthcare sectors. The event marked the formal announcement of a public health advocacy campaign aimed at driving awareness and enhancing malaria prevention.

Kessington’s CEO, Samuel Okwuada, represented by COO Victor Benjamin, explained that the brand ambassadors were carefully selected to represent Nigeria’s major geopolitical zones, highlighting the company’s inclusive and nationalistic approach to its messaging.
“We are not just selling a drug; we are pushing a movement,” said Benjamin. “Due diligence has been done from production to delivery. When we say Kesartem works, it works. We’re blending quality, acceptability, and accessibility.”
Flanked by the company’s Head of Marketing & Communications, Abiola Idowu, he reaffirmed the company’s dedication to affordable and effective healthcare solutions for all Nigerians.
The celebrities, now officially branded as the “fearless trio”, an emphasis on the brand’s capacity to tackle the malaria fearlessly, are set to amplify the product’s life-saving purpose through their wide-reaching platforms. Their involvement is expected to significantly increase awareness and understanding of malaria treatment and prevention across diverse Nigerian communities.
Speaking at the event, BamBam applauded the campaign’s cultural inclusivity, stating, “This is about the power of collaboration – bringing the three tribes together and uniting Nigerians in the war against malaria. It’s truly an honour to be part of this winning team.”
Ali Nuhu echoed similar sentiments, saying, “With our diverse cultures, we all have a unique approach to reach our people. But one thing is certain – malaria is in trouble with Kesartem.”
Zubby Michael also expressed his enthusiasm: “Every home in Nigeria needs Kesartem. I’m proud to be part of a mission that truly matters.”
