Ghanaian musician, Amaarae
Ghanaian pop star Ama Serwah Genfi popularly known as Amaarae has publicly shared her admiration for dancehall musician Shatta Wale.
She has declared him unmatched in the Ghanaian music scene.
The “Sad Girlz Luv Money” hitmaker rained praises on him during a party she hosted on April 28, 2025, at the Republic Bar in Osu.
Halfway through her performance, Amaarae surprised fans by performing Shatta Wale’s popular hit song ‘Freedom’.
In front of a lively audience, she paused her performance to share some heartfelt words about the controversial yet celebrated dancehall artiste.
Amaarae stated that despite Shatta Wale’s repeated insults toward industry players, he still receives support due to his likable personality.
“Nobody touches this guy, no matter what. Shatta Wale can come and insult all of us today, but tomorrow, he will drop some banger, and you will feel him. I have never felt anybody like the way I feel for this guy,” she said.
Meanwhile, Amaarae’s event saw appearances from notable personalities in the entertainment industry including Efya, TMSKDJ, and Annabel Rose.
