It has been a torrid season for Italian side AC Milan as the seven-time Champions League winners find themselves in ninth place, having lost three of their last five games.
As the 2022 Serie A champions struggled to regain their form, tensions flared during their match against Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples.
Trailing by two goals at halftime, England right-back Kyle Walker had a candid discussion with teammate Joao Felix as the team headed to the dressing room.
In a video shared by DAZN, Walker was seen criticising Felix for holding onto the ball for too long, urging him to pass instead.
He pointed out that the team isn’t Messi, implying they lack the same dribbling prowess, and encouraged Felix to focus on passing the ball.
Felix was substituted just ten minutes after the restart as Milan attempted to salvage a point. Unfortunately, new signing Santiago Gimenez missed a penalty and failed to halve the deficit.
Milan managed to pull one back when substitute Luka Jovic bundled the ball home from close range in the 84th minute.
Despite their efforts to find an equalizer, Napoli held on for a much-needed three points, closing the gap on league leaders Inter Milan.
