The Public Relations Officer of Burniton Music Group, Vida Adutwumwaa, has denied claims made by DJ Lord that they instructed him to stop playing Shatta Wale’s songs during an event.

On April 1, 2025, DJ Lord took to social media to allege that while performing at the Accravaganza event, a representative believed to be from Stonebwoy’s camp sent a directive to stop playing Shatta Wale’s songs.

“At the behest of Stonebwoy’s management, I was instructed to cease playing Shatta Wale’s songs immediately,” DJ Lord posted on his X timeline.

While some sided with DJ Lord’s claim, others took a swipe at the DJ that he is falsefully accusing Stonebwoy.

In response to the allegations, Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng said, “Nobody from Stonebwoy’s camp approached the stage to ask DJ Lord to stop playing Shatta Wale songs. I heard over 15 Shatta Wale songs, and nobody complained about it. We were just focused on our business,” she stated in an interview on Hitz FM.

According to her, Stonebwoy and his management team were solely concentrated on their activities at the event and had no reason to interfere with the DJ’s setlist.
