    A lecturer at the Nnamdi Azikwe University has replaced traditional attendance with a ‘photo attendance method’ to prevent forgery and ensure full attendance in lectures.

    A video posted by the lecturer, @taiwo_2222, showcased the landscape photos taken by students after the day’s lecture.

    “No more signature attendance. Signature forging is real. It’s either you show in the class picture or not.”

    He observed that students have been attending class more often since picture attendance was introduced.

    In the caption, he emphasized that traditional signature attendance would not be accepted in his class, as students have been forging signatures.

    He declared that students must either appear in the class picture or assume they never attended that day’s lecture.

    The clips from the video revealed massive changes in class attendance.
