    Media personality Ifedayo Agoro, also known as Diary of a Naija Girl, has stirred up conversations with one of her recent posts.

    In a recent tweet she made on X (Twitter) she stated that anyone who denies their partner unrestricted access to their phone is hiding something.

    According to Ife, what they may be hiding might not be detrimental to the marriage or relationship, but they are definitely hiding something.

    Her tweet read;

    “If you don’t have unrestricted access to your partner’s phone, they’re hiding something. Whatever they’re hiding may or may not be detrimental to your marriage/relationship, but they’re definitely hiding something.”

    She went on to caution those who have unrestricted access to their partner’s phones never to use this access as a weapon.

    “Do not weaponize this access and use it as a tool for control or manipulation. It will lead to resentment and distrust. If you constantly check your partner’s phone, there’s a lack of trust in your relationship. This is a much bigger issue.” She added

    Her statement has sparked a heated debate online, with some agreeing while others argue that privacy doesn’t always equal secrecy.

    Below are some of the comments;

    “Privacy” doesn’t exist in a committed relationship. Please go through your partner’s phones and other devices if you ever feel the need to.”

    “If you have a problem with what she said, then you have a bigger problem“

    “It’s the ones with unrestricted access you should be more careful with self because the devil was once an angel too. In a nutshell no go dey trust/rely on people too much👌🏻”

    “I totally agree with this. What’s intimate without having access to your phone?”
