A Nigerian mum has revealed a clever method to keep her son safe and occupied, placing him in a secure spot under a laundry basket while she bathes peacefully.

In a video shared online, the woman @life_with_giovanni explained that placing her son under a laundry basket was the safest solution she could utilize to ensure his safety while she took a shower without fear of any mishaps occurring in her absence.

She recalled a previous incident where her toddler fell off the bed but fortunately escaped injury due to the bed’s low height.

    In her words, she wrote,

“Ah nobody should come for me o😩 this is the safest way i could find I once left him on the bed so I can bathe, he fell thankfully it was the bed in his room, that one isn’t high I then decide to sit him down on the floor while i bathe but he kept crawling inside the bathroom Kept him in his sitter, he was using it to scatter everything so this is the safest and peaceful place for him😩.”

She noted that even when placed on the floor, her son often crawls his way into the bathroom, making it difficult for her to bathe uninterrupted.

To keep him engaged and out of trouble, she gently placed him under the laundry basket and set up a tablet playing cartoons nearby, allowing her to enjoy a peaceful shower.

Some Internet users have praised the woman for sharing the update for new mothers.
