    A Nigerian mum proudly announced that she was reaping the fruit of her labour after her 13-year-old son cooked a meal for her and her colleagues.

    Sharing on TikTok, the lady @ejire_omoola1 noted that Damilare, her godson, cooked rice and stew for her and his mum.

    She expressed surprise that a 13-year-old boy could possess the culinary skills to prepare a homemade meal.

    When her son arrived with the meal he had cooked from home, she highlighted that he was a good cook and couldn’t hide her excitement as she danced after opening the meal in her shop.

    As @ejire_omoola1 recorded the exciting moment, she asked how the boy prepared the meal, but he felt shy and hid his face.

    She affirmed that parents train their children so they can give them peace of mind after seeing the excitement on his mum’s face.

    While some commend the young boy’s ability, others suggest that cooking at his age wasn’t special, and nothing to be excited about.
