    A Nigerian man identified as Sunusi Danjuma Ali is being praised online for his act of integrity after he returned the money that was mistakenly credited to him.

    According to reports, over $135,000 (more than ₦200 million) was mistakenly credited to his cryptocurrency wallet on the Bitunix platform.

    Sunusi had noticed the large balance in his Bitunix account and immediately suspected it was a system error. Despite acknowledging that he had worked hard for the platform, he chose not to exploit the glitch.

    Instead, he promptly contacted Bitunix’s database team in Africa, as well as the company’s official X (Twitter) account, to report the error.

    After an internal review, Bitunix confirmed it was indeed a technical glitch.

    Rather than attempting to withdraw or use the funds, Sunusi requested that the mistake be corrected, earning him praise across social media for his honesty and sense of responsibility.

    The tweet read;

    “It is always good to be good. This brother, Sunusi Danjuma Ali, discovered a huge balance in his cryptocurrency Bitunix account, over $135,000 (more than ₦200 million). He explained that even though he had worked hard for Bitunix, he immediately realized it must have been a system error (a glitch). Instead of attempting to withdraw the funds, he chose the path of honesty and quickly contacted the Bitunix database team in Africa as well as their official X (Twitter) account. They confirmed it was indeed a glitch, and he asked them to rectify it. Well done.”
