A Nigerian man fled his home after his mother ordered him to cut off his dreadlocks, but was caught off guard when she unexpectedly cut the locks with scissors during his visit.

In the caption, his sister @simply_b3ll4 stated that he chose his dreadlocks over his family, leaving home after his mother’s warning. He was unaware that their mother had other intentions for him during his visit.

During his visit, the mother purposefully grabbed him by the dreadlocks, with scissors in her hand, ready to cut off the locks.

The unexpected circumstance evolved into a prayer session and hilarity as the mother fervently pleaded against all immoral acts involving men with dreadlocks. His siblings laughed aloud and confirmed the prayers as she prayed.

The mother believed that males with dreadlocks were involved in illegal activities, so she prayed against drug misuse, fraud, and cybercrime.

As the video went viral, many commended the mother for cutting off his dreadlocks to keep her son safe. Netizens suggested that the hairstyle could attract an unfortunate incident for the young man.

Internet users queried the man for residing with his parents despite being an adult.
