Many were stunned, unable to believe they had been rewarded for their academic excellence. They flocked to X (Twitter) to thank Gold for his generousity, tagging him in posts showing the receipts of the transaction.
The news of his kind act took the internet by storm, with many praising Gold for his actions. Louding his deeds as the “type of thing that should be promoted on social media”.
