The Ménas of Niger host the Falcons of Sudan in a decisive 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Stade de Kégué.

Niger, who are already out of the qualifiers, have a chance to delay Sudan’s qualification for the 2025 AFCON.

Sudan will need at least a point from the game to confirm their qualification for the continental showpiece in Morocco.

Kwasi Appiah’s charges took a huge step toward achieving this feat after a remarkable 2-0 victory over the Black Stars of Ghana in October.

The Falcons picked up four points in their doubleheader against Ghana, taking their points tally to 7 after four games. They trail Angola by five points and lead Ghana by five points.

Niger, on the other hand, lost both games against Angola in October, which ended their chances of qualifying.

They have just one point after four games, sitting at the bottom of the group with three defeats and one draw, scoring once and conceding five goals.

They lost 1-0 to Sudan in the first leg of their encounter and hope to upset the Falcons this time to avenge their previous defeat.
