Nigel Farage has declared earnings of more than half a million pounds from second jobs in his first six months as an MP, official records show.

The Reform leader has cashed in after being elected to represent Clacton-on-Sea in July, with a host of money-making ventures.

His latest big-money declaration in the Register of Financial Interests is £189,300 from a London gold bullion dealer which employs him as a ‘brand ambassador’.

He declared the sum for an average of four hours work per month since the election, and some work previous to it.

A MailOnline analysis suggests Mr Farage has earned more than £567,000 on top of his £91,000 salary as MP for Clacton.

Other newly registered payments include more than £15,000 last month from Cameo, a website allowing people to commission bespoke video clips from celebrities.

He also dropped £42,000 from his role as a presenter on GB News in December.

In addition to his earnings, he has received gifts, donations and hospitality worth almost £58,000 in the past six months, the record show.

Mr Farage is front and centre in the website of Mayfair-based Bullion Direct, including a video in which he extols its qualities.

He has also been a regular on GB News for some time.

During the general election, Mr Farage cancelled his show, which aired Monday to Thursday each week, to focus on campaigning, but following his success in Clacton he returned to the channel as a presenter.

Ofcom has repeatedly found that GB News has breached broadcasting rules on impartiality, which allow politicians to present current affairs programmes but not act as newsreaders.

Payments added this month include £4,361.75 from the New York Young Republicans Club in December.

In October he registered his income from GB News as £97,928.40 a month. But he said the income was for several months work for the channel.

In a statement posted on X he said: ‘To be clear… the GB News sum paid to me and declared includes VAT, and was for several months of work.

‘It was paid to my company, which has significant expenses. Sorry to disappoint the media.’
