All eyes were on a crop of Australian talent tonight at a sold out Melbourne Pavilion, as wins for Skye Nicolson, Teremoana Teremoana and Jake Wyllie kick off Matchroom’s new deal Down Under – live on Kayo SPORTS, Fox Sports Australia and DAZN.

Nicolson shone bright under the lights in Melbourne, beating Mariah Turner in a battle to defend her WBC Interim World Super Bantamweight Title, as she calls for an Undisputed show down next.

Heavyweight Teremoana stunned yet again as he sent a battle-hardened Bowie Tupou to the canvas after just 74 seconds. The Aussie native has now claimed a first round stoppage in all 11 of his professional contests.

It was a quick night’s work for Wyllie as he bounced back from a draw in his last fight with a second round stoppage in front of a noisy home crowd.

Benjamin Hussain caused an upset with a split decision in his favour against Andrew Hunt and Jesse Bolt made a statement on the big stage with a brutal first round KO.
