Nicki Minaj congratulates Davido and Chioma

Nicki Minaj has joined a list of celebrities such as Stonebwoy, Adekunle Gold and host of others congratulating Nigerian musician Davido and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, on their white wedding in Miami.

The American rapper left a short message under one of Davido’s posts on X, writing, “Congratulations to you both.”

Recently, Davido took to social media on August 14, 2025, to share how happy he was about the ceremony.

He referred to the wedding as a “fairytale” and said it was one of the best moments of his life.

The singer also addressed critics who had mocked him for hosting a lavish event and for the controversies that followed.

He insisted that no amount of negativity could change the joy he and his wife felt.

“We had an amazing wedding, perfect in fact! Me and my wife body still dey sweet us like this. Nothing una git do, say, or make up will ever change the fact that we had a fairytale wedding! And one of the best days of not the best day of our lives! The whole world celebrated us!” he wrote.

Davido and Chioma’s white wedding took place on August 10, 2025, in Miami, United States.

The couple, prior to this, got engaged in a traditional ceremony in March 2023.

They welcomed twins in the United States in October 2023, and later tied the knot in a grand traditional wedding in Lagos, in 2024.
