    Nicholas Opoku delivered a solid and composed performance for Kasimpasa despite their narrow 1–0 defeat to Samsunspor in the Turkish Super Lig at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadyumu in Istanbul.

    The Ghanaian defender was heavily involved throughout the contest, recording an impressive 91 touches and showcasing his reliability in possession.

    Opoku completed 73 of his 79 passes, posting a strong 92% accuracy rate, while also attempting to progress play with 3 accurate long balls from 4 attempts.

    In the final third, he completed 3 of 7 passes as Kasimpasa searched for an equaliser.

    Defensively, Opoku stood firm, making six clearances and competing well in duels, winning three of his six contests, including one aerial duel.

    His overall performance earned him a rating of 6.8, making him the second-highest rated Kasimpasa player on the night.

    Despite his efforts, the result leaves Kasimpasa sitting 15th on the league table with 16 points after 20 matches.
