Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is expecting his first child with wife Ronika Stone, the couple announced on New Year’s Day.

Six months after tying the knot in a lavish beach wedding, Jordan and Ronika, both 27, took to Instagram to reveal the next exciting chapter in their love story on the first day of 2026.

The married couple shared a number of heartwarming photos which shows them  touching Ronika’s baby bump, posing with their scans and holding up some of their incoming child’s clothes to unveil the big news.

‘New year, new addition,’ they captioned the joint post.

Love started dating Stone – who is a professional volleyball player – shortly after getting drafted by the Packers in 2020.

She was the first to go public with their romance online after posting a pair of selfies with the NFL star alongside the caption: ‘Have you cleaned your mirror yet?’

They went Instagram official in May 2021 when Love posted pictures from her brother’s wedding in Lake Tahoe, California. Stone has since been a staple at his football games.

Love is not the only big-name quarterback set to become a father in 2026, with Buffalo Bills superstar Josh Allen also expecting his first child with wife Hailee Steinfeld.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers signal caller Baker Mayfield is also expecting his second child with wife Emily later this year.

Prior to the pregnancy announcement, Ronika offered an interesting critique of television networks and their coverage of football players’ injuries in a rant on TikTok.

‘Can we just talk about how unhinged sports networks are when it comes to showing injuries?’ she asked her followers in a self-shot video.

‘If it’s a gruesome injury, worse thing they’ve ever seen in their lives, and it’s just too graphic to show their viewers, they’re not gonna show it again,’ she said.

‘But if they’re like, you know, “he only got kind of f***ed up,” they’re gonna play that a thousand times.

‘My husband plays in the NFL,’ she continued without mentioning her 27-year-old beau by name. ‘The amount of camera angles they will pull out to show an injury, and then commentate on it just to see if it’s as bad of a hit as they really thought it was.

‘”We’re gonna show you five different angles and we’re gonna slow-mo it,”‘ she said, imitating NFL announcers. ‘It’s insane.’

Jordan is no stranger to serious injuries. The Utah State product and former first-round draft pick suffered a concussion in the Packers’ Week 16 loss to the Chicago Bears and will remain sidelined until the postseason begins next week.
