Multiple people have been injured following an ‘active shooter’ incident at an Ohio manufacturing warehouse late Tuesday night.

New Albany Police responded to the large industrial park at the 8800 block of Smith Mill Road North at approximately 10:30pm.

New Albany Police said they are responding to an incident at the KDC/One cosmetics building in an update posted to their website.

‘New Albany Police are currently responding to an active shooter situation at KDC/One,’ the alert posted at 11:38pm reads.

‘It is currently an active scene, and police are locking down the building. The suspect or suspects are unknown at this time. Residents should avoid the area.’

The suspected gunman has reportedly fled the scene and remains at large, Real Time News posted on X.

Police urge anyone who can assist in the investigation to call NAPD at 614-855-1234.

‘The KDC/One Columbus facility is one of the foundational members of the KDC/One network and a significant producer of specialty and personal care products,’ according to the compy’s LinkedIn page.

The facility is just one of 24 manufactures located in the New Albany Beauty Park and has produced over 1.5 billion units in over 3,000 different SKUs since its opening in 2012.
