Personnel from the New Abirem Municipal Fire Station swiftly responded to a fire outbreak at BSE Company Limited, a sawmill in Adadekrom, Birim North Municipality.
A team of eight firefighters, led by LFM Tenkorang Ofori Prince, successfully contained and extinguished the blaze, which reportedly started during wood burning for charcoal production.
Although parts of the facility were damaged, several wood and charcoal materials were salvaged. No casualties were recorded.
