New evidence used in the trial to convict yoga instructor Kaitlin Armstrong of murder has been released.

Armstrong, 35, was found guilty last year of murdering professional cyclist Moriah Wilson by an Austin jury. She was sentenced to 90 years in prison.

She carried out the May 2022 murder due to her fury over Wilson’s relationship with Armstrong’s boyfriend, Colin Strickland, when the couple briefly broke up.

Strickland maintained contact with Wilson even after he and Armstrong got back together.

Armstrong gunned down Wilson while she was staying at the home of her friend Caitlin Cash, with Fox News obtaining doorbell footage as the shooting unfolds.

One of the newly obtained videos from Cash’s neighbors that was shown to the trial shows several gunshots being let off at her house as well as Wilson’s final screams.

Cash could also be heard frantically calling for help in a newly unreleased 911 call she made.

She says: ‘My friend is staying with me and I just walked in, and she’s lying on the bathroom floor and there’s blood everywhere and I don’t know what happened.’

Cash walked into her Austin home to discover her friend laying on the ground and not breathing.

The dispatcher can be heard saying: ‘Just pump hard and fast and count out loud so I can count with you.’

The outlet reported that she performed CPR for over five minutes emergency teams arrived on the scene.

Another new clip shows officers speaking with Cash, in which she tells them: ‘She was with our friend, Colin, Colin Strickland.

‘She went swimming, I left to go have dinner with my friends, and then I came back, and this is my house, this is my house, and she’s staying with me.’

She can also be heard telling them that Wilson’s bike was missing, which was later found by an officer taping off the scene.

Wilson, a rising star in the world of gravel cycling, began dating Strickland after he broke up with Armstrong, and their relationship continued after he got back together with his former girlfriend.

In May 2022, Wilson traveled to Austin for a race and planned to meet Strickland for dinner.

Fox have also obtained footage of Strickland being told by officers that Wilson had been killed. He is quiet throughout the clip, clearly stunned by the news

Armstrong followed them to the restaurant and her black Jeep was caught on surveillance video circling the block.

After the meal, Strickland drove Wilson to her Cash’s apartment, before Armstrong pulled up outside and fired three gunshots, fatally injuring her love rival.

Fox have also obtained footage of Strickland being told by officers that Wilson had been killed. He is quiet throughout the clip, clearly stunned by the news.

Armstrong fled to Costa Rica using her sister’s passport, dyed her hair and got a nose job, brow lift before law enforcement caught up with her after 43 days on the run.

After a warrant was issued for her arrest in Wilson’s death, US Marshals tracked her down to a remote seaside town in the country and returned her to the US.

Her trial was nearly derailed in October last year when she fled from two deputies while attending a doctor’s appointment.

This time she remained on the run for just 10 minutes before being recaptured and charged with escape causing bodily injury – a charge which was later dropped.

She was convicted of first degree murder the following month and told she would not be eligible for parole until 2053.

In June a judge ordered her to pay Wilson’s parents $15 million after they sued her for wrongful death.

Another lawsuit filed in July said that she strategically transferred all her property to her relatives to avoid having to compensate them.

Wilson’s parents Eric and Karen sought $1 million compensation for funeral expenses, ‘loss of society and companionship’, and the ‘conscious pain and suffering and mental anguish’ their daughter suffered during her 2022 murder.

Two properties in Austin were reportedly transferred to her mother or sister before being sold, while her stake in a third that she co-owned with Strickland was transferred to her sister, Christine Armstrong before being gifted back to Strickland.

The suit also claims that Armstrong’s Chase bank account was drained of all $78,000 just three days after her victim’s family filed their wrongful death lawsuit against her.
