    Dorcas Naa Korku Afotey has earned a Master of Science degree in International Business, marking a notable milestone in her academic and professional development.

    Dorcas Naa Korku Afotey, who previously contested the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries in the Krowor Constituency, is recognised for her active involvement in community-based initiatives, particularly programmes focused on skills development and empowerment for women and the youth. She also serves as a Board Member of the National Population Council, contributing to policy dialogue and initiatives on population and sustainable development.

    Her postgraduate studies sought to deepen her knowledge in global trade, business management and economic development. The programme equips graduates with practical, analytical and strategic skills needed to operate effectively within today’s highly interconnected global economy.

    Speaking after the graduation ceremony, Hon Dorcas Naa Korku Afotey expressed gratitude to her family, mentors and supporters for their encouragement throughout her academic journey. She noted that the experience has broadened her outlook on entrepreneurship, innovation and the importance of creating opportunities for local businesses to thrive.

    In addition to her political and public service engagements, she has organised a number of training programmes aimed at equipping participants with employable skills, improving livelihoods and promoting self-reliance among young people.

    Her achievement reflects a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, underscoring her dedication to contributing meaningfully to community development and national progress.

    Dorcas Naa Korku Afotey joins a growing number of Ghanaian professionals pursuing advanced education to enhance their capacity to support economic transformation and sustainable development.
