Deputy General Secretary (Operations) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Comrade Foyo Mustapha Gbande, has appealed to party members and supporters to remain calm as leadership works to address concerns relating to employment and internal party relations.
In a statement issued on October 14, 2025, Gbande acknowledged the growing unease among the rank and file of the party, emphasising that the leadership understands and values every concern expressed by members and non-members alike.
“We appreciate all concerns, in whatever form they come, from the rank and file of the party, as well as from members and non-members alike. I urge everyone to remain calm as we explore practical ways to address all matters relating to jobs and relationships,” he said.

He assured that the NDC leadership, in collaboration with government, is actively working to find practical and lasting solutions to the challenges being raised, particularly those related to job placements and internal coordination.
“As leaders, our foremost duty is to serve you, with the hope of improving the common challenges that confront us in diverse ways,” he stated, adding that all feedback and expressions of frustration have been heard “loud and clear.”
Gbande also urged restraint in public commentary, encouraging members to stay measured in their communication while trusting the process of engagement and reform.
“We only ask that you grant us the space and time to find lasting solutions, even if gradually. Our government continues to make steady progress, regardless of the challenges,” he emphasised.
Concluding, the Deputy General Secretary reaffirmed the leadership’s solidarity with the grassroots, pledging that the party remains united behind the President in advancing collective progress.
“Patience and resilience always triumph in the end,” he reminded supporters.
