Haliburton played for the Iowa State Cyclones basketball team when Jones was a cheerleader, and they started dating in 2019.
‘I truly couldn’t imagine my life without this sport,’ Jones wrote after finishing the season in March 2020. ‘Cheerleading has carried me on a journey that I will never forget.’
