Ghana defender Nathaniel Adjei has praised FC Lorient’s fighting spirit after they held Paris Saint-Germain to a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Parc des Princes in Ligue 1.

Despite facing one of Europe’s most in-form teams, Lorient showed resilience and discipline to secure a valuable point away from home. Adjei was central to the defensive effort, helping to contain PSG’s attacking threats throughout the encounter.

Speaking to GHANASoccernet.com, the 23-year-old said the team’s unity was key to the result. “We knew it was going to be a tough game against a top side, but staying together and believing made the difference,” he said.

Lorient were repeatedly tested by PSG’s star-studded attack but maintained their structure and composure under pressure. Adjei highlighted the importance of collective effort, noting that every player contributed fully to the performance.

Statistically, the former Hammarby IF defender made six clearances, won one tackle, and completed 16 of 19 passes (84% accuracy). The result boosts Lorient’s confidence as they continue their Ligue 1 campaign.
