Trump aide Natalie Harp once rode in the trunk of an SUV to go to court with Donald Trump, according to a report by CNN.
The extraordinary claim came as the president’s executive assistant found herself at the center of a fiery exchange between the White House and Georgia Democrat Jon Ossoff.
Harp made the unorthodox journey during an October 2023 trip Trump made to a courtroom in New York City during President Biden’s time in office, according to the story published by CNN on Tuesday.
The alleged incident was said to have occurred when Harp allegedly engaged in a ‘screaming match’ with other staffers after insisting that Trump had personally requested her attendance, the network reported, citing two anonymous sources.
When told there was no room for her in the vehicle, Harp improvised, according to the story, which was given as an example of how Harp had ‘irked’ those closest to the president.
One advisor said that Trump ‘likes the attention and the fact that she is 100 percent committed and loyal, according to the report. ‘She doesn’t question, doesn’t second guess,’ the source said.
It came as the White House hit out at Ossoff, who is considered a potential presidential contender for 2028, for referring to Harp during a rally for his Senate reelection campaign on Sunday.
He told supporters: ‘[Trump] doesn’t want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the emir of Qatar.’
Davis Ingle, a White House spokesperson, told The Daily Mail that Ossoff’s character and voting record are equally awful.

Ossoff, considered a contender for his party’s presidential nomination in 2028, drew cheers at a rally Sunday after he referenced Trump’s close relationship with his 35-year-old executive assistant
‘Natalie Harp is one of the most loyal and hardest working aides on President Trump’s team,’ Ingle said in response to the CNN report.
‘Jon Ossoff is a feminine theatre kid who voted to massively raise taxes, give illegal immigrants free taxpayer-funded healthcare, and defund federal immigration enforcement and Border Patrol. Lightweight Jon’s rhetoric is cringeworthy, but his extreme voting record is dangerous,’ he added.
The statements from the White House follow Communications Director Steven Cheung’s heated response to Ossoff on Monday.
‘Jon Jackoff has to be the biggest cuck loser in politics. Instead of denigrating hard working people serving their country, Jon should look deep into his soul and ask himself why he’s a miserable person who hates this country. It’s because he’s a radical, extremist Dumocrat,’ he wrote.
Trump himself called Ossoff a ‘Pee-wee Herman lookalike’ and said that ‘we’re fixing a White House that hasn’t been taken care of’ in response to the ‘build the ballroom’ statement.
Ossoff responded to the media interest in his comments in an interview with MS Now Monday night, saying he referred to Harp because he believes she’s one of his ‘enablers.’
‘Well, I’ve heard this particular aide referred to as his security blanket. And I think we could say that about any number of the senior aides in the White House. They’re not telling him what he needs to hear. They’re telling him what he wants to hear,’ he said.
Administration officials told Semafor Tuesday that they consider Ossoff’s statement a ‘cheap shot’ and that they feel the need to combat his misinformation over potentially upsetting First Lady Melania Trump.

Harp has been one of Trump’s closest aides for years and is dubbed the ‘human printer’ as she carries bundles of news articles around for him to read.
She was among a handful of aides including Trump’s former caddy Dan Scavino who switched planes with him on the tarmac in Ankara.
Israeli intelligence had warned of an impending Iranian attack on Air Force One. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent were left on the plane with dozens of journalists.
Harp is never far from the President and is trusted with taking dictation on the market-moving posts he makes to his Truth Social account, where he often announces major decisions such as strikes on Iran or tariffs on foreign countries.
She once ran behind his golf cart while he was playing in Scotland to keep him up to date with the latest news headlines.
Harp is Trump’s ‘connective tissue,’ sources told the Daily Mail, with some pointing out that she has more access than even his chief of staff Susie Wiles.
Harp famously wrote, ‘You’re all that matters to me,’ in a letter to Trump published by the New York Times in 2024.
Preston Harp, Natalie’s socialist brother who fled to Central America, has said that his sister’s relationship with the president is ‘very unhealthy.’
‘She’s just like his fan club,’ Preston said from his new adoptive homeland of Nicaragua in an interview with The Daily Mail in July.
Preston moved to the Central American country in 2023 to live under the authoritarian rule of Daniel Ortega, who has called Trump ‘mentally deranged’ for his handling of the war in Iran.
He had no idea his sister had started working for Trump until a friend pointed him to a Daily Mail article about a ‘glamorous new assistant’ in March 2023.
‘He’s like, “Hey, did you see the Daily Mail?” And he’s like, “No, look at this,” and I’m like, “Oh my gosh, my sister’s in the Daily Mail, and working for Trump!”,’ he said.
‘And I had no idea,’ he added. ‘And so it just kind of caused some cognitive dissonance.
‘I don’t understand why my sister, or anyone could want to work for Trump.’
