Hard-punching Tsubasa Narai (17-2, 12 KOs), 129.75, barely kept his Japanese super featherweight belt as he scored a come-from-behind one-punch knockout over previously unbeaten Shota Kajino (6-1-1, 4 KOs; amateur 17-8), 129.75, at 2:44 of the fourth round on Thursday in Tokyo, Japan. Former Japanese youth champ Kajino swarmed over the champ from the outset by recklessly making an opening attack with a fusillade of punches. Though on the defensive, OPBF/WBO AP both#1 Narai occasionally retaliated with a few solid counters, but Kajino obviously took the initiative with his unbelievably furious aggressiveness. The patient champ, however, exploded a single countering left hook to the button to sink the challenger flat a la Tony Zale stretching Rocky Graziano in 1948. The ref counted him out and the loser was carried out of the ring on a stretcher. He was fortunately safe.

Promoter: Hachioji Nakaya Promotions, Ohashi Promotions.
