Overlord of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari Gariba II has praised the Vice Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh saying he is as a man who fulfills his promises faithfully.

The Overlord of Dagbon said this when Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and his entourage paid a courtesy call on him at the Gbewaa Palace to seek his prayers and support as he and Dr. Bawumia solicit for votes.

Yaa Naa narrated that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh visited him when he wass the Minister for Energy and he (Yaa Naa) requested some electrification projects to be done in his area.

The Yaa Naa stressed that Dr. Opoku Prempeh, popularly called NAPO, honored his request without hesitation and delay.

This, he noted, is a clear testament that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh keeps his promise.

He prayed for Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and urged them to commit to peace in the upcoming elections.

Accompanying Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh were the General Secretary of the NPP, Justin Frimpong Kodua, the National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye, MP for Yendi, Farouk Aliu Mahama, MP for Gushegu and Deputy Minister for Transport, Hassan Tampuli, Senior campaign aides and all NPP parliamentary candidates within the Dagbon enclave.
