Popular Ghanaian broadcaster Nana Yaa Brefo Danso has reportedly welcomed a set of twins after enduring years of emotional and physical struggles to conceive.

News of her double blessing surfaced online after her close friend and colleague, Ohemaa Woyeje, paid her a surprise visit at home to see the babies on Monday, June 30, 2025.

The saw the award-winning DJ share a video of herself, Nana Yaa Brefo and the kids on social media.

The video has seen many fans and followers of the media personality who currently work with Media General congratulating her for her resilience and perseverance through her difficult fertility journey.

Back in 2023, Nana Yaa Brefo opened up in an interview about her painful journey towards motherhood.

Speaking to Adom TV, the seasoned media personality revealed how she lost her womb due to an unsuccessful surgery, forcing her to explore alternative means to have a child.

“I tried other means to get pregnant and I have tried IVF about six times. Four were successful but the pregnancy was aborted at a point,” she painfully recounted.

Despite the repeated heartbreaks, Nana Yaa did not give up. She even considered adoption as another path to motherhood. “I have spoken to the head of social welfare about three times but I haven’t had the courage to proceed. I went to an orphanage for a donation and have even met two girls but I’m working on something currently and that will determine the next step,” she disclosed at the time.

She also shared the toll these attempts took on her health and finances. “I am on break now. Aside from the cost, the health complication is a lot so I have relaxed now. It is the person involved or the eggs you use,” she said.

Congratulations to Nana Yaa Brefo Danso and her family on this beautiful miracle.
