Ghanaian blogger and media personality, Augustine Adjei Poku popularly known as Nana Baffour, has earned international recognition after winning the Outstanding Blogger of the Year (Global Stars 2025) award at the second edition of the Liberians Excellence Achievers and Global Stars Awards (LEAGS Awards).

The glamorous ceremony, held at The Ripple Centre in Barking, London, brought together creatives, entrepreneurs, and global change-makers from diverse fields. It celebrated individuals who continue to inspire, impact lives positively, and leave lasting legacies in their communities.

Nana Baffour, widely admired for his dynamic storytelling, innovative digital content, and consistent influence in the media space, was honored for his significant contribution to promoting authentic narratives from Ghana to the global stage. His works, which cut across blogging, media advocacy, and entertainment reporting, have positioned him as one of the most promising young voices in Ghana’s digital media landscape.

In his acceptance remarks, Nana Baffour dedicated the award to his audience and supporters, emphasizing that their encouragement fuels his passion. “This award is not just for me, but for every young creative in Ghana and Africa who believes in the power of storytelling. It’s proof that our voices matter and the world is listening,” he said.

The LEAGS Awards, organized by Splaach Care Foundation and its partners, is aimed at recognizing Africans who are excelling globally while inspiring the next generation. With its theme “Our Story | Our Time | Our Legacy”, this year’s edition highlighted excellence, resilience, and the power of positive impact.

Nana Baffour’s achievement adds to Ghana’s growing list of digital creatives making waves internationally, reaffirming the nation’s position as a hub for talent, innovation, and global influence.
