Some internet users have taken to social media to share their views on a recent comment made by media personality Nana Aba Anamoah over a promised free dialysis treatment by the NPP flagbearer.

On November 12, 2024, Nana Aba threw her support behind the free dialysis treatment policy as flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawmia recently announced that treatment will be covered under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) beginning December 1, 2024.

This has caused a stir on social media as some netizens have tagged the media personality as an ardent supporter of the NPP.

While some netizens have listed the media personality as a puppet of the NPP, and also doing the will of Dr Bawumia, others have praised her for supporting the free dialysis initiative.

Read some of the tweets below:

Then I think now Bawumia can now cancel e-levy,betting tax etc

Greedy old lady,u’ve cash out so u can sell us,no wonder u sold ur friend for a fridge.

Because Nana Aba blocked me, I’d talk here. Months ago Bawumia lied to us that NHIS would cover dialysis. Korle dialysis centre was shut down for debts last year, people died. Nothing was done, the cost only went up! So No I’m not blinded by politics Nana, I just hate liars.

Nana Aba everyone sees through you. Stop forcing it.

Nana Aba has gone full footsoldier mode. What NGO can do!

    — Abdul Hameed (@sayhameed) November 12, 2024

Let’s vote for Dr. Bawumia to add more life-saving policies to make Ghana great.
