A lady’s unconventional approach to storing water after a week-long power outage during which the caretaker rented a generator to pump water has stunned online users.

@midwife_zinny wrote in the caption that she was shocked by her friend’s response to the water pump. Using buckets, bottles, pots, and food containers, her friend filled the kitchen with water because she wouldn’t continue sourcing water from neighbours.

Due to a prolonged power outage exceeding one week, the caretaker rented a generator to facilitate water pumping, prompting her friend to fill water in all available containers and cooking wares.

As seen in her friend’s kitchen, her cooking pots and kettle were full of water rather than food, and several food containers stacked on one another were filled with water on the kitchen cabinet.

She made fun of her friend by emphasizing that the only kitchen utensils she couldn’t fill with water were spoons.

Given the difficulties she would have encountered during 1-week of extended power outage, the lady’s strategy was to survive for an additional week without looking for water.
