    A viral video of Afrobeat singer Burna Boy embracing a female fan on stage at a recent concert has set the Internet abuzz, sparking controversy.

    In an online video, the singer was recorded exchanging a heartfelt conversation with a female fan after she embraced him excitedly. The lady was prompted to request his hand towel which he gave out willingly.

    Recall that the singer left the stage after a male fan unexpectedly jumped on him during his performance in Lagos in December 2024. After the incident, he cautioned his audience not to jump at him during a performance because he suffered from PTSD.

    Meanwhile, online users have compared his reaction toward the female fan and the male fan, suggesting that his action was an example of gender discrimination.

    In an attempt to appease women, tweeps asserted that men are to blame for the issues facing their gender.
