A mysterious video showing a coconut tree engulfed in flames after a thunderstruck has sparked conversation online with many relating it to diabolical action.

People were alarmed when the coconut tree started to caught fire and scared residents away from walking along its route.

A video that @G_best_media_solution shared, captured the coconut tree, with its fruits and palm fronds exploding in flames due to the unexpected thunderclap. Lightning continued to shine over the coconut tree even though it was covered in flames.

Some Internet users, meanwhile, compare the puzzling occurrence to demonic activity and the ability of a higher spirit to free a person from a generational curse.

Many argue that the incident isn’t a mystery because the palm leaves were dried and a coconut fruit had flammable characteristics that sparked the fire from the thunder.

    See reactions below,

@teeben_tmu God set someone free you say na coconut catch fire 😂

@2701visuals it’s not mysterious, GossipMill!! lightning struck the tree, what was it supposed to do? jump and run? 😂😂

@abilityaustinc LoL.. That was caused by lightning 😂😂.. there’s nothing mysterious about it, if you like carry church for head 😂💔

@iRitaSunshine That’s not a mystery, the fire is explainable. something as simple as lightning can ignite a fire electricity spark can ignite dry parts of palm fronts Everything is mysterious to you guys

@GTexx_ How is it mysterious. The heat from the lightning can ignite the tree directly, especially if the tree has dry bark or if it’s during a dry season.
