Ghanaian fashion designer Elikem Kumordzie, popularly known as ‘Elikem the Tailor’, has expressed utmost gratitude to his wife, Hajara.

He has described her as a blessing from God and a major source of support in his career.

Speaking in an interview on Coffee Break, shared on Instagram on July 3, 2025, Elikem opened up on the pivotal role Hajara has played in his personal and professional journey.

According to him, Hajara stood by him even during tough times, especially when he faced financial struggles in his business.

“I rented three shops in East Legon at $300 each for a whole year, that’s almost GH¢100,000 just on rent. I appreciated the space, but I couldn’t afford to renew it the following year. I believe God sent Hajara to me,” he shared.

According to Elikem, he has been able to achieve every goal he set for himself.

“Everything I said I was going to do, I have done. I have built a new flagship shop at East Legon. That is where I sell. We were talking about fashion and I said I really wanted to marry, settle down, and have kids and I did that. It was crazy for me because I saw it, did it and it has manifested,” he said.
