A lady expressed her frustration online, after her she discovered the slippers she had commissioned her shoemaker to repair had been ruined further.
She claimed that her mother and the shoemaker did a poor job of mending her slippers.
The lady @everything_prinzy explained that she wasn’t home, so she asked her mum to assist in taking her slippers to the shoemaker for repairs.
Upon returning home, she was surprised by the shoemaker’s method of fixing her slippers.
She expressed her dissatisfaction, pointing out that instead of applying gum to the damaged spot, the shoemaker had sewn around the entire slipper.
Only one of the slippers needed repair, but the shoemaker and her mother seemed to have conspired against her by sewing both slippers entirely, devaluing the quality of the footwear.
She wondered how she could wear the fashionable slippers outside with the stitches visible on the soles.
