Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Asamoah has alleged that her elder sister died after consuming one of Prophet Adom Kyei Duah’s miracle drinks, commonly referred to as “Sobolo.”

In a live video, Diana Asamoah explained that her sister had been battling diabetes for 17 years and was on prescribed medication to manage the condition.

However, her condition worsened when she stopped taking her medication and instead began drinking the miracle “Sobolo.”

She claimed her sister believed in the healing powers of the “Sobolo” and refused to take her prescribed medicine, even discarding drugs sent to her by her husband abroad.

According to Diana, the consumption of the Sobolo contributed to her sister’s death.

“The Bible states that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; it does not say that anyone who calls on ‘Sobolo’ will be saved. As I mentioned earlier, my elder sister passed away on December 6. She had diabetes for 17 years but only deteriorated after she began consuming ‘Sobolo.’

“Her husband was abroad, and whenever he sent her medicine, she would discard it and opt for ‘Sobolo’ instead. That led to her death,” Diana Asamoah alleged.

Addressing her public criticism of Prophet Adom Kyei Duah, Diana Asamoah clarified that her comments are not motivated by hatred or rivalry.

She stated that she has no interest in establishing her own church and is not jealous of his large following.

Her concern, she said, is about the misleading teachings and practices she believes the prophet is promoting.

“I do not harbour hatred against anyone, nor have I established a church out of jealousy for the number of members you have in yours. I believe establishing a church is a noble endeavour. If the Lord has called you to establish a church, then preach the Word of God to His children,” she said.

Diana also addressed the prophet’s claim that women should not preach, opposing the statement.

She cited women in the Bible who played significant roles in spreading the gospel and encouraged other women of faith not to be discouraged by such teachings.

“Do not deceive people by claiming that women should not preach. Women proclaim the gospel, and if you are a woman who believes in the Word of God, go out there and share the gospel. We have women in the Bible like Elizabeth, Dorcas, and Priscilla who were used by the Lord. So what are you talking about? I have mentioned that you are not a preacher of the Word of God, and you have admitted this yourself, so just continue with your business,” she stated.
