Founder and leader of Heaven Way Chapel, Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa, has once again stirred controversy with a bold statement regarding the ongoing investigation involving Chairman Wontumi and EOCO.

It will be recalled that on June 2, 2025, Agradaa made a surprise appearance at the EOCO headquarters while Chairman Wontumi was in custody facing investigation.

But in a new video circulating on social media dated June 4, 2025, Agradaa has confidently asserted that her presence at the EOCO office played a divine role in Wontumi’s release.

“You’re all making noise on social media just because I went to EOCO and graced the place with my presence,” she said. “I wasn’t the one who bailed him out, it was the anointing and favor upon my life that led to his release,” she stated.

She added, “Whether you like it or not, it was my anointing. Didn’t you notice that after I showed up, he was released that same day? When God blesses you, grace and favor follow you wherever you go,” she added.

On June 2, 2025, Chairman Wontumi was officially released from EOCO custody after meeting his bail conditions.

His release was facilitated partly by Bryan Acheampong, former Minister for Food and Agriculture and MP for Abetifi, who served as one of his sureties.
