International boxing matchmaker and fighters’ manager Mubarak Yusif Nanor has awarded educational scholarships to ten juvenile boxers at the Prince De-Henry Educational Complex in Accra, marking his February 22 birthday with what he described as an act of community responsibility.

The presentation ceremony, held at the school’s premises in Lartebiokorshie, forms part of Legacy Rise Sports Promotions’ commitment to promoting education through sport. Nanor said the MYN Scholarship Educational Project is rooted in the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to learn and grow.

Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Rise Sports Promotions, Sharaf Mahama, stressed that sport alone is not a sustainable career path, noting that meaningful impact must extend beyond the ring.

Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo, Alfred Kotey Ashie, urged boxers to promote bouts respectfully and plan financially for life after boxing.

Proprietor Archiebald Nii Martei Armah welcomed the beneficiaries and called for the initiative’s expansion, describing education as the foundation for long-term success.
