    A Nigerian mum has sparked amusement online after revealing that her young daughter failed her Christian Religious Studies (CRS) exam for confidently saying that Jesus was born in Nigeria.

    The little girl, who reportedly performed excellently in all her other subjects, missed only one CRS question, the one asking where Jesus was born.

    Instead of answering Bethlehem, she boldly relocated the biblical birthplace to Nigeria.

    In the viral TikTok video shared by her mother, the woman is seen quizzing her daughter at home to understand what went wrong.

    The child answered several biblical questions correctly, showing she had a solid grasp of the subject.

    However, when her mother asked again where Jesus was born, the girl confidently replied, Jesus was born in Nigeria, repeating the same answer that got her marked down in the test.

    Her mother burst into laughter, joking that her daughter had relocated Jesus from Bethlehem to Lagos, a remark that has entertained many online.

    The video has drawn different remarks from Nigerians who found the child’s confidence both adorable and hilarious.

    Below are some of the comments;

    “The confidence is unmatched! This baby really said Jesus is a Nigerian citizen.”

    “She answered everything else correctly but carried Jesus to Lagos”

    “Maybe she meant Jesus was born in her heart. Teacher no suppose mark that one wrong na.”
