A Nigerian mother’s disciplinary action has led her daughter to reflect on her behaviour and life after she scolded her for wasting powder.

The mother @thatgirlvicky82 wrote in the caption that the young girl turned to think about life after being flogged for wasting powder.

The introspective thoughts surfaced when the little girl had to deal with the consequences of wasting the powder despite her mother’s severe warning.

The girl was shown in the widely shared video unwinding on their one-seat cushion chair and considering what she had done.

She displayed her sobriety by swinging her legs sideways. The girl’s response to her mother’s disciplinary action is comparable to an adult considering the priorities in their life.

Netizens recounted similar experiences of having different thoughts after suffering a form of punishment from their parents.

Many speculated that the girl might be considering running away from home as she pondered whether the woman was her birth mother.
