    The first edition of the FIFA Women's Champions Cup will be hosted in Morocco The first edition of the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup will be hosted in Morocco

    Morocco has been confirmed host of the next phase of the qualifying series for the inaugural and trailblazing FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.

    The match that will feature African representative against their Asian counterparts, Wuhan Chegu Jiangda WFC (China) will take place at the Stade Municipal de Berrechid on Sunday, 14 December 2025.

    The African champions will be known on November 21, 2025, upon the completion of the CAF Women’s Champions League underway in Egypt. The participating teams are FC Masar (Egypt), AS FAR (Morocco), USFAS Bamako (Mali), ASEC Mimosas (Cote d’Ivoire), FC 15 de Agosto (Equatorial Guinea), Gaborone United (Botswana), JKT Queens (Tanzania) and TP Mazembe (DR Congo).

    The winner of the tie between the African champions and the Asian representatives will meet European champions, Arsenal, for a place at the final whilst Gotham FC, CONCACAF torchbearers will face Brazilian outfit SC Corinthians (CONMEBOL) in the other semis clash.

    The semis and the final are scheduled for London, United Kingdom from January 28 to February 1, 2026.

    The FIFA Women’s Champions Cup brings together the six continental champions from the full season to determine the world’s best club team.

    The game-changing competition, first approved by the FIFA Council in May 2024, is held in non-FIFA Women’s Club World Cup™ years, with the maiden edition of that tournament scheduled for 2028.

    These two new competitions are part of FIFA’s ongoing commitment to increasing opportunities across the global women’s club game.
