For gospel singer Perez Musik, life is too short to waste on certain battles.

The “Hewale Lala” hitmaker said he has learned, through observation, that some things are not worth fighting or arguing over, no matter how important they may seem.

In an interview on Bryt TV, Perez Musik disclosed that there are three major things he will never fight for: money, women, and property.

I spend more than I make as a Gospel musician – Perez Musik reveals

“In my life, there are some things I would never fight for or argue with people about. There are three major things: money, women, and property,” he said.

The host then posed a scenario, what if he performed at an event and the organisers refused to pay him?

Perez Musik admitted it would hurt, but he still would not go chasing after the money himself.

“It would pain me but I don’t think I would go and stand somewhere and be shouting about it. Personally, I won’t, I have a team and if they want to pursue it, even that one it is based on my conviction, if I tell them to leave, we would just leave it,” he stated.

Attacks in the gospel industry are normal – Perez Musik

The gospel singer explained that this mindset comes from seeing the dangers these issues have caused in other people’s lives.

“Life has taught me a few things. People have died because of property, people have killed people because of money, people are in jail because of women and I’m not ready for any of those things, I won’t risk it,” he added.
