A British Sky News reporter doggedly pursued Marjorie Taylor Greene after the Donald Trump ultra-loyalist shut her down and told her to ‘go back to your country’, new footage shows.
The Republican firebrand, 50, aimed more insults at a British journalist – and the UK – during the extraordinary encounter in Washington DC, MailOnline can reveal.
Martha Kelner has admitted to being ‘bruised’ by the experience and joked: ‘I’ve been Marjoried’.
‘A lot of people describe Marjorie Taylor Greene as an attack dog. She is certainly a very vociferous defender of Donald Trump and Trumpism and MAGA politics’, Ms Kelner has said.
Their live TV row began when she asked if Ms Taylor Greene ‘cared about American lives being put at risk’ by the Signal chat scandal.
‘We don’t give a c**p about your opinion and your reporting. Why don’t you go back to your country? Don’t you care about how your women are raped by migrants?’, MTG, as she is known in the United States, replied.
But MailOnline can reveal that the skirmish continued after the irate Georgia Republican representative abruptly ended her press conference after she refused to answer questions from the reporter because she is British.
Ms Kelner followed her down a corridor and again asked if American lives were put at risk by the leak of messages detailing American strikes on Yemen.
MTG then slammed the UK and said: ‘Your country is going to have your military observers and risk lives fighting a war in Ukraine that is not even a member of NATO‘.
Martha then asked if her display was an ‘exercise in deflection’. MTG replied: ‘No this is an exercise in you worry about your own country’.

A visibly angry MTG said that Britain was putting its servicemen and women are risk in Ukraine
Martha then asked if her anger was an ‘exercise in deflection’. MTG replied: ‘No this is an exercise in you worry about your own country’.
The British journalist also asked whether Pete Hegseth, the United States Secretary of Defense blamed for the leak should resign, to which MTG said: ‘Absolutely not, he’s doing a great job’.
Marjorie once famously told David Cameron to ‘kiss my a**’ and Greene had previously told a British journalist to ‘go back to your country’ in 2022.
She went nuclear when the Sky News reporter asked if leaked messages put American lives at risk.
When hearing Martha was not American, she asked which country she has come from.
And when Ms Kelner quickly answered: ‘The UK’, the American far-Right politician and conspiracy theorist from Georgia said angrily: ‘We don’t give a c**p about your opinion and your reporting. Why don’t you go back to your country?’.
When Martha asked again if she cared about American lives that may have been risked by the leaking of Houthi attack plans, MTG went on: ‘You should care about your own borders. Let me tell you something, do you care about people from your country?
‘What about all the women that are raped by migrants – do you care? Don’t you care about how your women are raped by migrants?’
She finished: ‘You’re done. I don’t care about your fake news’.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene shamelessly deflected to the past instead of addressing the failings of the current administration when asked about top White House officials adding a journalist to a sensitive group message about impending military air strikes in Yemen

Just before Greene went nuclear on the reporter she was in a committee hearing talking about public broadcasters NPR and PBS
Greene, 50, had just exited from a DOGE committee hearing examining government funding for public broadcasters and was taking questions from the press when a reporter asked her about Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Ms Kelner’s question was intended to get Greene to respond to an ongoing controversy within the White House over how a journalist was inadvertently added to a group chat about air strikes in Yemen with Hegseth and other top US leaders.
MTG then only agreed to speak to an American journalist – who then stuck up for Martha.
The US reporter appeared to stand up for Kelner, ‘I’d like to hear your answer to what she’s asking,’ the man said, referencing the Sky News correspondent.
MTG then began talking over him, not about Hegseth or the group chat controversy, but instead about former President Joe Biden.
‘You want to know about complete disregard about operational security? You should talk about the Biden administration and how they ripped our borders open to terrorists, cartel, child sex trafficking, human trafficking, and drug trafficking across our borders for four years,’ Greene responded.
‘Were talking about NPR and PBS today,’ Greene clarified, noting how that was the purpose of her media availability.
‘That’s what this is about today, not journalists from the U.K. that should care about their own country,’ the Republican finished before walking away from the cameras.
But Ms Kelner followed her.
